How to add Phone and Snapchat icons in Simple Social Icons widget

Hi Sridhar,

I’m having trouble displaying the icon for snapchat and the phone. I enqueued the most recent version of font awesome but I’m only getting a square where the icon should be. Any ideas?

In this tutorial I share the steps for adding Phone Number and Snapchat fields in the Simple Social Icons plugin's widget and using Font Awesome to display these icons in the front end.

    For my purposes, adding the font awesome css declaration to my style.css did the trick. The http thing you’re referencing wasn’t an issue for me as the tel:555-555-5555 seems to work without issue. thanks again.

  • I would love to add a WhatsApp icon to have people send me messages, do you know who this can be done? Tried to add “whatsapp://send?abid=username&text=Hello%2C%20World!” with no luck.
