Hi there! I tried this for the Parallax pro theme, but when I add that code to the functions.php file, the available widget areas do not change.

Great post, Sridhar. Thanks!
When I follow your instructions, the Search form pops up immediately, but after configuring the widget, the social icons refuse to appear. I’m running the Prose theme on the Genesis framework, WP 3.9.1. Any ideas?
Hi,
I tried this out and it worked, only in a Chrome browser I get an extra margin on top?
I get the extra margin on bottom. In Chrome and Firefox both.
AWESOME post. Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you! One question…is there a way to make the simple social icons and search box switch places, so that the search box appears to the right of the social icons (instead of the left)? Thanks in advance!
Thank you for sharing your work… I used your code to add social icons and a search bar in my primary nav area, but I got a button on the search box, I do I get rid of the button… You can see it here ;http://sandbox.learntoblogforbeginners.org/

hi, Sridhar! Just implemented this tutorial and it worked perfecly. They primary nav on the theme I’m tweaking is centered, any suggestions for adjusting the search bar to be inline with the centered navigation menu? http://test.blogambitions.com/blog
Hi there!
I just implemented this tutorial here:

But for some reason, the search bar shows up huge, and then the social icons show up below. Any idea how to fix this?
Hello Sridhar,
Thank you for the tutorial. I have just implemented it on a site I am working on. It’s running on the Genesis Starter Child Theme, and I have also implemented your tutorial to set up animated Search form in Genesis (great!!, just what I needed). The only thing is that the menu items are on the left now, the social icons on the right and the magnifiying glass for the animated search form below it all. It there a way to put everything in one line?
I hope to hear from you.
Thank you very much, I really like your tutorials!
