Hi Sridhar,
I would like to do this on Monochrome pro, I have tried to edit the above code and the slider appears but is very small with large black space around it. Do you have a tutorial for Monochrome Pro with a Soliloquy slider in Front Page 1? I want to use the Soliloquy captions on each image.
Are you using the free version or paid version of Soliloquy?

Hello Sridhar,
I cannot figure out why, but I cannot get this to work. I did exactly as you instructed 3 times now (and got it to work last year in another site), but I keep getting the initial background image.
Any thoughts on what is wrong?

I figured it out! When I created the slider, I forgot to add a title, so the slug was 569 instead of front-page-1. All is well now!
Happy New Year, Srid, and thank you for your great tutorials!
Hi Sridhar,
This was great, as your modifications always are! One issue I have is that when the screen size changes (for example mobile) The widget area of front page 1 moves down to below the front page 1 area instead of staying there. How can I change this?

Thank you!
That is by design/choice. Otherwise, the overlaid widget will be sticking at the top and bottom of a short image at smaller screen widths.
If you would like to prevent the widget area from appearing below the slider, try deleting this from Step 2:
