We are moving to Australia on 8th of June and have a lot of things to take care of before the move. There will not be any updates in this site until we get settled in Melbourne. I know there are a lot of comments unanswered and I wish I have the time to look into them and help as much as possible but for now, they will have to wait. I hope to be back in action online around 25th June or sooner if I manage to find a house/apartment for rent and internet connection. Until then I will probably also not be replying to emails and am unavailable for work.

We have always wanted to move to another country for a better quality of life. Australia is the most welcoming for skilled migrants. My wife works in IT. She applied for ACS, wrote IELTS and we got PR. We visited Sydney this April to validate the visa and really liked how clean the roads were, the pollution-free air, the excellent public transport and much more. Now she got a job offer over there in Melbourne and hence the move.
I do not have any job offer in Melb.
We can certainly meet one day mate 🙂

A hearty Aussie welcome to you and your family. Have been following your blog with its fantastic tutorials. I was only thinking how well you would do here with your skills. Having lived in Melbourne the past three years, I think it would be a great city to settle in although maybe a little colder than my favoured home city of Sydney. Melbourne has a 70 year history of welcoming people to Australia and allowing them to happily settle their families and to live in peace. Take the time to see the Immigration Museum there and to look at other people’s journeys and do the Golden Mile guided walking tour that starts at Federation Square.
May the road rise up to meet you.
