hi sridhar. i’ve customized the going green genesis theme for my client and she’s not happy with the amount of space the main menu takes at the top of the site when viewed on handheld devices (i moved the nav from below the header to above it). the layout works fine on desktops but she hates it on her iphone. i’ve tried to do a hamburger menu for the combined main and secondary navs but that breaks the site. i was going to use mobble to move the main nav for handhelds but i’m not sure that’s the best way. I love the approaches you take in your various blog posts and would love to hear your suggestion.
i’ve set up a copy of the site in a sandbox: http://meshbiz.com/sec/
thanks.
Have you thought about using two different hamburger menus? one for Primary and the other for Header nav.
When someone figures out how to do the Facebook and Google+ style mobile menu and have it work seamlessly with Genesis, that person will be a genius! Sooooo looking forward to that day!
Thanks again for the resources and links!
Is that more than a vertical side menu that can already be done as I show in http://www.sridharkatakam.com/adding-responsive-side-menu-genesis/?
