How could different background images be used on different pages
How do you envision this to be working? Do you want to specify the static Page IDs and the corresponding background images in functions.php or are you thinking along the lines of a custom image upload field when editing a Page that would appear as the background for that Page?
I’m open to it being fairly techy (page ID) it doesn’t need to be user friendly for the client to manage. I just can’t figure out how to make it happen at all…
Thanks for all the examples and info on changing the new Minimum Pro theme. Have you looking into changing the circle icons? Something like this http://www.carriedils.com/minimum-theme-examples worked on my old site but upgrading is harder than I realized.
So I followed one of your other posts showing how to create a responsive image instead of the background in the Minimum Pro theme. I want that responsive image to show up on selected pages. Do I follow the same instructions above or is it a little different since I’m not using backstretch?

When I remove that part of code from a front page and add in a functions.php as you have written, the background image is not on the website. Please could you advise me?
I was able to use this and it works nicely, but it doesn’t show up in the Portfolio page (archive?). I looked around WP’s Conditional Tags but can’t seem to figure out how to enable the ‘else if’ function for two or more terms like the ff.: is_page and/or is_archive. Would you be able to help me about this?
