Hi Sridhar, thanks for all your wonderful tutorials.
Concerning this post, I was wondering if implementing this horizontal optin can be made using Gravity Forms with MailChimp Addon. As I already have them on my site and would like to keep as less plugins as possible.
Thanks again, Bart
Hi,
Excellent post as always 🙂
How to unset the option if using a front-page.php as “home”, and only having the option active on pages with a active sidebar.
Thanks 🙂

Thanks you for this tutorial! I only have one problem. It’s not showing up on IE. It show up on Firefox but not IE.
Hello,
Does this code work with the new Cafe Pro theme?
Thank you
I copied the raw text from Github and pasted into functions.php and then my site would not display at all. I’m thinking that there is a mistake either in where I place it in functions file or a punctuation error. I am using Outreach Pro.
Ideally, when I can get it to show up, I’d like it to just be on home page, between home-bottom and sub-footers. Is that possible?
Hi Sridhar,
Thanks for a great tutorial. I’ve been reading previous ones and actually implemented some of your tips and tricks.
Love the styling and layout of this particular horizontal optin form. How can I implemented on the new Minimum Pro theme and replace contents of the default site-tagline bar with your horizontal optin as described in this post?
How can this be accomplished with Parallax Pro and after Home Section 1?
Hi Michelle, have you found an answer? I’ve tried to implement the horizontal form on parallax too but it will only show it as stacked. If you have found a solution, can you share it?
Thank you!
Barbara
I have the same problem. Perhaps Sridhar can weigh in and help us out.

Any tricks to get it to work with Lifestyle theme?
Hi, I can’t even get the Horizontal Opt-In widget to appear in Appearance>Widgets, despite following the above correctly.
Has anyone any ideas why this might not be showing?
Many thanks.
Hey Sridhar,
I’ve got an issue – minor, but still…
In using this with MailChimp, what happens is when you enter your details and hit subscribe, it takes you to the MailChimp form instead of just adding to the appropriate MC list. Is there a way to fix this issue?
You can see what I mean on my site – http://www.annieanderson.com
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

I’m using this on Minimum Pro and worked beautifully on the front page, however on the inner pages it is hiding underneath the fixed navbar. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Thanks for all that you do!
Can you provide the URL of the site?

Thank you!

It worked! Thank you so much Sridhar! I’m so glad I caught you 🙂
Hi Sridhar,
Just signed up today, loving this tutorial!
What do I need to change in the code so that I can register this as an additional widget below the front-page-2 widget on the Altitude Pro Theme homepage?
Thanks
Richard
