In the comments section of How to display a Fixed Mini Header when Scrolling down in Genesis, a user asked:
Showcase Pro does not have a header right widget area, and I’m not finding a good article to reference to register a header right widget area.
We can customize Showcase Pro such that primary nav is floated to the right of the title area which appears at the left and make the header fixed and smoothly shrink on scrolling down for screen widths > 800px (the media query when the nav menu collapses to a hamburger menu).
Step 1
In js/global.js add the following before });
at the end.

My header is sticky but not shrinking, although I’ve followed these steps exactly and I’m using a fresh, unedited version of Showcase Pro. Have I missed something?

When applying this tutorial the navbar is changed a bit:
1. Items of the left side (using CSS left as per author) now are showing on the right side
2. the vertical alignment changed so the logo is not centered vertically and neither is the nav item.
Any idea why?
thnx
Helllo, I can’t get the header to actually shrink when scrolling.
Could you take a look please?
There was an error in the code change in Step 3. It has been fixed now. Can you retry?
Tried this tutorial out for Showcase and the header isn’t shrinking for some reason.

Nevermind, it is working, just not on home page.
