Hi Sridhar. Thanks for the post, it almost answered my question, apart from your solution adds content inside .site-inner. I am trying to add an image in to the following hook area in Genesis on the blog page template genesis-after-header outside the main content area. I am making a website with different images on separate pages above the main content area. I have managed to do this using conditional tags and page ID’s using genesis Extender. I can’t figure out a way to hook an image on the blog page template in genesis-after-header – Do you have any ideas how I could do it?
Me too… finding an answer to this is murder.
Does not work in the Ambiance Pro theme
How would I get a featured image to appear for the blog page (not for the posts on the page)?
I’ve tried so many things but I’m still having trouble.
Thank you!!
It is not recommended to use Blog template that Genesis comes with.
Can you elaborate your question?
If its not recommended to use the blog template .. what is the best method to show x amount of blog posts on the front page – home page ?
what setting is used in worpdress – reading ?
