Excellent idea. I like it, but I like how I have my footer set up. Could I place this in Home Section 4 instead? How would I modify the CSS?
Replace “.footer-widgets” with “.home-section-4”.
Sweet! I have a simple listing of recent articles on my home page because I couldn’t find the right way to display them. This is it. Thank you so much!
Awesome! I intend to use this for related posts to the end of articles in after post widged (with some minor css changes)
This plugin has not been updated in over 2 years. Is there a more updated version– or, is it safe to use a plugin without recent updates?
Thank you for the great content!
Megan
It is safe to use this plugin.
So I just tried this tutorial and the posts are stacking on top of each other instead of the 3 style column. what am I doing wrong? http://demo.webspyred.com. Thanks for all your tutorials!
I do see the posts in columns. Guess you fixed it?
Nice makeover for your site.
Hi, I just tried this tutorial and the posts are stacking on top of each other instead of the 3 style column. Can you tell what am I doing wrong?
Thanks!
O and I really love your tutorials!
Hi, Chrissy, did you solve the problem and how did you magage to do that?
Thanks,
Josephine
Firstly, this is genius, thank you!
How would I override the font sizes for this? Parallax Pro has a 28px font for the text and even though it’s the same as the rest of the page, it still looks huge. I don’t see any options in the widget and am not sure how to add it to the CSS file.
Also, on mobile, it looks totally ridiculous, did anyone else even look at that yet? It looks amazing on desktop but literally is unuseable on mobile…
I was wondering the same about the font size in these. They do match the rest, but stacked next to one another, the type looks too big – makes it all look crowded.
(Website above isn’t the one I’m working on – that’s not hosted yet)
Not sure why but it didn’t work for me. Any ideas??
This works great in Chrome and Firefox but, alas, in IE 11 the three posts are stacked vertically at 100% width.
So I figured that maybe the “Compatibility” needed to be set so I set it and now the three post show up as two rows, with the first row having two posts and the second row having the third post.
Since this is a public site I will refrain from making any negative comments about IE, but $#@!!#% !
Any ideas on my problem?
Forget the problem. Might have been buffering, etc. but it is working O.K. now.
But I have not changed my mind on IE! 😉
I’m having the same issue as Stavros. How would I scale the font size down for just that section? (Sorry to have such a newbie question.)
I love how they look next to each other, but with the large font there, they look crowded.
Thank you!
