Is there a way to only add this to the homepage? I’ve done all the steps you mentioned http://www.behindtheblush.ca/ but I was hoping that the slider would only show up on the homepage… and not every page that features posts.

Had same issues and workaround was to add Archive Intro Text via Categories. Allows html so no problem with a block of text and the scrolled posts do not lose alignment.

I have an issue I hope you can find the time to help me out with. I implemented the masonry grid layout out as you decribed in http://www.sridharkatakam.com/using-masonry-genesis-pinterest-like-layout/ And also included the infinite scroll funtionality. (awesome stuff btw, cheers!)
I also added the featured area, as described above, but now when more post are loaded they overlap the first set of posts.
I hope you can help me out, I can’t seem to figure it out.
