In the comments section of How to replace image background with a video for Front Page 1 section of Altitude Pro using BigVideo a user asked,
Hi Sridhar,
I was hoping that I could get this to convert to the Aspire theme, I have followed your steps and made changes where It looked necessary to the theme, but I must be missing something…

Just used this and it worked perfectly! Thanks Sri!
You may want to review Step 6. I adjusted it to:
“to
$opts = apply_filters( ‘aspire_images’, array( ‘4’, ‘5’, ‘7’, ‘9’, ’11’ ) );”
Thank you!!
Fixed, ty.
I’ve gone through this, step by step 3 times and for the life of me I can’t see what I’m missing.
Working on a test site at http://www.custompageapps.com/
Neither the video nor the .jpg will load.
I had the older method for Altitude Pro working ok but I really like Aspire better using the instructions here: https://sridharkatakam.com/video-background-front-page-1-altitude-pro/
Should I delete Altitude and everything associated with it? Not sure what to look at next.
I’ve updated the tutorial to replace Vide js method with Video Background plugin.
You might want to remove any video background related steps from the earlier version of this tutorial or the other tutorial and follow this fresh.
You are awesome! Deleted everything, started again and it works!
One question – I still get all the use of the home page widgets boxes but do I have to have the Home page as a static page?
Even if it’s blank , it still shows after all the widgets
Hi – Quick question – WordPress will not let me upload a webm. Any ideas?
Figured that out.
I am getting a large white bar between the video and the navigation bar at the top…that changes in size depending on the browser. Any idea how to fix. wisdomworksglobal.com
